OUR TEAM

How We Came To Be

In 2018, Navya and Jharna decided to together learn more about dyslexia. They realized that almost everyone in their community had grown up with incredible educational privilege. Students with dyslexia are highly intelligent and capable learners who struggle in school due to a lack of free educational resources, technology, and empowerment. Motivated to make a change, they created a free multisensory Android app called Dyslessia to help with phonemic awareness, reading comprehension, and spelling. The app was based off the suggestions and guidance of accredited dyslexia professionals and educators. Since then, Dyslessia has grown into an organization working on several different intiatives to empower students with dyslexia.
